2012-05-29 UI UX Meeting

Participants: Shuro, Saptarshi, DP, Daniel, Susan, Astha, Sathyan, Nathan.
  1. General overview of agenda and introductions
    1. Brandon has looked across modules for common elements
    2. We are asking everyone to add to the second tab in 'Common Elements' document.  If you've used anything that's not a standard graphical element make sure it's on the list.
    3. And we hope we have Brandon work with Shuro and Daniel to make sure the brand feel is correct to come up with the right theme.
    4. If we don't get the functionality right then it doesn't matter what it looks like.
    5. And because we are using Sencha widgets we don't have to decide what these things will look like and we just decide what color, etc. So there's no reinventing the wheel.  Example: The sencha toolkit doens't come with a human body so we'll have to design that
  2. Module-specific updates:
    1. OPD
      1. Update from astha dhawan (Unlicensed)
        1. Require more feedback on the Lab aspect of the OPD module
        2. Require more feedback from the JSS doctors themselves.
        3. There is a question about how we move from Astha's (extremely good) designs to work for the coders / developers.
      2. Questions about OPD module design process and inputs from JSS, people on the project, etc.
    2. Laboratory
      1. Update from Sathyan Velumani
        1. great progress over the last ten days.  We are close to closing in on version 1.0 on all ten screens / flows and tomorrow we'll have a call to review all of them.
        2. These remaining screens - specimen collection, registration, etc. - are all tightly intertwined.
      2. Questions and comments
      3. Next steps:
        1. End of the day Tuesday (IST) Sathyan will save the files as PDFs
        2. Susan, Nathan, Daniel and Shuro will give feedback on the files ahead of the Wednesday walk through.
    3. Pharmacy
      1. Walk through with Durgaprasad ("DP")
      2. Second version is forthcoming.
      3. Surajit Nundy
        1. We might have have to do a Pharmacy-wide call with Barry Levin.
        2. If a patient is prescribed a drug, then it would be good for some classes of drugs (like TB drugs) to show on a CHW phone to do directly observed therapy at that patient's home.
      4. DP: probably another week for the next iteration given the amount of work that needs to be done.
      5. Saptarshi Purkayastha (Unlicensed): Pharmacy manager will be able to give authority to transfer goods from one pharmacy to another.
